On March 25th, just a few short hours before the planned release of Battlefield 4: Naval Strike, developer DICE announced that the PC launch would be delayed. While saying that “we’ve detected an issue that needs to be solved,” DICE did not go into further detail or provide any more information regarding the release date. Rest assured, console players, your launch has not been delayed and Playstation/Xbox Premium users may download and play immediately.

Naval Strike is the latest DLC for Battlefield 4, the most recent addition to EA/DICE’s award winning Battlefield series. Naval Strike includes 4 new maps that focus heavily on water based combat, new weapons, gadgets and a new game mode, Carrier Assault, reminiscent of Battlefield 2142’s Titan Mode.

You can find more information regarding this on Battlelog, DICE’s official portal into Battlefield.

UPDATE – March 25th, 2014

According to this post on the Battlelog Forums by a DICE Developer, the Xbox One Launch of Naval Strike has also been delayed with no further information provided.
