If you’re a Heroes of the Storm fan or a fan of MOBA titles, signing up and playing in ranked group play could earn you some college tuition funding – to the tune of $450,000.

Can you assemble a team of players ready to compete for their college tuition? If so, Blizzard Entertainment is working in cooperation with TeSPA to put on a $450,000 tournament for Heroes of the Storm, and any eligible team ready to play will be accepted to Blizzard’s closed Beta to prepare for the tournament. Starting up in the first of four phases, those who sign up over on HeroesoftheDorm.com right now with their team will be given until March 26th to begin training. Preparing for a March 28th tournament start, Open Qualifiers will take place on this day, ending March 29th and leading straight into Top 64 Single Elimination Bracket Play.

This Single Elimination Bracket Play will occur on the small stage, breaking down these 64 teams to result in the ultimate conflict shown live on ESPN. Each of the top four teams competing on EPSN in the “Heroic Four at the Live Finals Event” will receive a fantastic prize, with the champions having a good chunk of college tuition paid for them and their team. Among the prizes, each of the 64 tournament teams will receive a small prize to their Battle.net accounts – a $40 Battle.net Balance Card. This can be used to boost a team’s character roster heading into the tournament, allowing for the purchase of at least four new playable champions.

Whether you’re a top 64 team or not, registering teams with valid university email addresses will automatically receive Beta access, which is a prize in itself given the title’s great game play. For those who don’t make it into the tournament, you still have a chance to earn prizes and more with the Heroes of the Dorm Fantasy Brackets. Top 5 Predictions will each receive and “Epic Gaming System for Heroes of the Storm”, a HyperX Cloud II Headset, a SteelSeries Heroes of the Storm Mousepad and the top prediction will receive also receive $10,000! 25 Randomly Selected Winners will receive one of these prizes as well:
