Do you enjoy sipping a fine wine and perhaps savoring some caviar while you play your games? Well maybe French art-game Caifornium is what you’d be interested in playing. Californium is a first-person game based on exploration that puts you in the shoes of a writer questioning his reality and choices.
“Berkeley, 1967. You are Elvin Green, a writer whose career is not better than his sentimental life. Besides, the day starts badly : Thea, your wife, left you a break up letter. The obsession to finish your ongoing novel ? Your brain perceives a signal, the Theta – which seems connected to your emotional state. There is a way, this world is unstable but you can extract yourself from it. And thus, you will enter the real world! You have nothing to lose …”
It’s clear that the game’s art is gorgeous, but the multi-media design that will take place in the game (that can be seen in the teaser) certainly might not be to everyone’s tastes. All will be clear when this game is released early 2016. Au revoir!
