If you’re one of the hundreds of thousands of people who have struggled to play the beautiful Black Desert Online in a foreign language, worry no longer.

Black Desert Online is coming to Closed Beta testing in just a few short weeks, and the time to sign up is right now. Available over on the official Black Desert Online website, you can add your email address to the list of applicants and have your chance at playing the title ahead of its English-speaking launch. Those who sign up today are eligible for testing between December 16th, 07:00 a.m. UTC and December 22nd, 07:00 a.m. UTC.

The Beta test phase will only take place for one week as the title is already fully bug-tested from Open Beta campaigns in Japan and Korea. Registration for the Beta test is only open through the 9th of December, so get on it while you can. Those who shell out $100 USD can pick up the Beta guaranteed as part of the “Conqueror’s Package”, and will also guarantee access to the second Closed Beta test. Those who purchase the “Explorer’s Package” at $49.99 can guarantee at least the second Closed Beta phase. Each package has a load of gear and other in-game goodies available with it, which you can have a look at here.

Those interested in signing up for the Closed Beta phase without purchase, head over to this page.

We’ve written an extensive guide for those not interested in taking any chances as well, where you are guaranteed to play, but you’ll have to play in either Japanese or Korean languages to do so. Here’s our guide for Japanese – it’s fully free, and will be patched out to at least a bit more content than the English version. For the Korean guide, head over here. The Korean version is the most up-to-date, but possibly the most challenging to access as well.

With a little patience and time, we’ll soon all be playing what is arguably the most beautiful MMORPG on the market. Without question, it clearly has the most in-depth character creator we’ve ever seen.
