If you’re a fan of Destiny or simply a Collector’s Edition owner that is waiting to get back into Bungie’s latest FPS, Destiny’s House of Wolves Expansion is coming and now has an official launch date.
As revealed over on Bungie.net, the second official expansion to Destiny is just over a month away. Releasing on May 19th, 2015, the House of Wolves will come to PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in just a few weeks – just as we mentioned. As we noted earlier this month Destiny will open its second social area, The Reef to players in the House of Wolves expansion, allowing for new NPC interactions and new missions to complete. Players will “join the allies of the Queen to destroy the traitorous Fallen from the House of Wolves.” in the coming weeks, and over the course of a month Bungie will unload new content.
This content includes all-new activities, game modes, events and of course new gear to grind your way to the top of the food chain. As detailed, and as leaks have suggested, we’ll be running an all-new raid, strikes and everything we got from the last DLC pack. Let’s hope that this time around the raid can’t be completed by just one person, and hopefully the Gjallarhorn can be adjusted so that not only will it not destroy the boss in any raid all by itself, but we might actually see the item return to Xur one day.
