Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima is working on the next generation of Silent Hill games, and he promises that you will be more than scared while playing.

Working in cooperation with Pacific Rim director Guillermo del Toro, Kojima’s work on Silent Hills, the series sequel, isn’t meant to be a casual fright. “Originally, we were thinking of making a game that would make you pee your pants,” Kojima initially told Polygon at Gamescom. After further discussions with del Toro, Kojima later said, “we are aiming for a game that will make you shit your pants.”

Pretty strong words for the horror franchise that defined the PlayStation 1 era through Nintendo’s GameCube. When asked about his commitment to an unprecedentedly high scare factor possibly turning people off, Kojima did not falter. “So be it. We don’t care. We are aiming for a game that will make you shit your pants. So please make sure you have a [change of clothes]. The limited edition will probably include a pair of trousers.”

You can test out the teaser for Silent Hills right now with “P.T.” on the PlayStation 4 through the PlayStation Store – but you might have some laundry to take care of afterward.
