The DC Comics-themed MOBA, Infinite Crisis from Turbine, will become finite. Despite only a few months from its big release on March 26th, developer Turbine has announced that it will shut down on August 14th.

“After much deliberation, we regret to announce the official shutdown of Infinite Crisis, We will end development efforts today and will close the service on August 14, 2015.” The game will be entirely free from now, until August 14th.

“This was an extremely difficult decision to make and On behalf of the entire Infinite Crisis team we want to thank all of you for your feedback, support and for joining together to create one of the best communities in gaming.”

We’ve reached out to Turbine for an exact reason for the closure, and will update as it comes to us.

The game has reportedly struggled to maintain an active player base, and with quite a few options for you to choose in the MOBA scene, it makes sense. The general consenses on all of this? “I didn’t even know this existed!”
