If you’re sold on the Xbox One because it integrates with your Windows PC, the PlayStation 4 will do the same in just a short while.
Helping push forward the already dominant sales figures of PlayStation 4, Sony announced today that the popular console will soon Remote Play on your PC or Mac. Posting on Twitter just hour ago, President of Worldwide Studios for Sony Computer Entertainment Shuhei Yoshida brought still more hype to the already wildly popular console.
Some people asked if we plan to provide Remote Play function to PC, and yes, we are indeed working on an official application for PC/Mac. 😀

While we generally try to stay unbiased, the gaming community isn’t necessarily following the same trend. With Halo, Forza, Tomb Raider and Gears of War standing as the only hope for Microsoft’s software sales, this “wow” feature being integrated in Windows 10 MIGHT have convinced PC gamers to buy-in. Now that Sony is coming on board with this “official application”, there’s one less reason to buy a console already marred with resolution problems and minor issues like non-rechargeable controllers.
Let’s hope for Microsoft’s sake that they can produce a smash hit in the coming year, but as it stands 2016 could be the third straight year that it is the “year of PlayStation”.
