Japanese exclusive Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 will offer pre-order bonuses so “Xtreme” they plainly show why Koei Tecmo doesn’t feel like the West is a good market for the title.

With the world of gaming both equal parts art and free speech, culture can easily effect sales – and in turn, change where a developer intends to sell their games. Koei Tecmo does not intend to bring Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 [the beach volleyball title] to Europe and North America because of these cultural differences. Marred with sexuality, a weak plot and multiple mini-games wrapped around decent volleyball, the Xtreme series is falling further into skimpy outfits this time around.
