Taking a page out of the oldest book, Namco Bandai will bring strategy to the only element that MOBA players know as the constant in these titles – the “creep.”

While under the umbrella of the Multiplayer Online Battle Arena, Namco Bandai’s “Supernova” plans to separate itself from the pack with a Rock-Paper-Scissors style creep. Typically serving as the metric for balancing out the lane in a MOBA fight if you need to help your friends, Supernova will take this lane balance and allow you to decide what you need for the appropriate moment. Properly countering your opponents choices when in one-on-one fights can help your own cause, while also enabling your team to take advantage of those who leave their lanes and don’t moderate their creep selection against the opposition.

Without throwing balance out the window, Namco Bandai is looking to bring back some of the elements that made the MOBA genre possible and can separate Supernova from the crowd.
